THE TOP TITLE: VERSATILITY EXCELLENT (VCX)
This is the “original” GSPCA program. It is not point based like VC and VCA, and requires a dog to achieve three titles from the following rows. Note that this new program changed the Rally requirement to the Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE) title:
* Champion (CH)
* Master Hunter (MH)
* Amateur Field Champion (AFC) OR Field Champion (FC)
* Utility Dog (UD) OR Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE)
* Agility Excellent (AX) OR Agility Excellent Preferred (AXP)
* Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) OR Variable Surface Tracker (VST)
THE OTHER TITLES:
Versatility Certificate (VC) and
Versatility Certificate Advanced (VCA)

For the GSPCA VC award a dog would need 7 points from 3 of the 6 areas, including at least one 4 point or greater achievement from one of the categories. Any of the 6 areas could contribute to the points, but at least one area must include a 4-point or higher award. At least one point must come from the Field or an AKC (not GSPCA) Hunt Title in the “hunt” category.
The GSPCA VCA award would require 11 points from 4 of the 6 areas, including at least TWO 4 point or higher achievements from different categories. At least one point must come from the Field or an AKC (not GSPCA) Hunt Title in the “hunt” category. Points can be earned from any of the 6 categories.
