The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America’s Performance Registry of Merit (P-ROM) award program is to honor the AKC Companion Events Performance production record of the sire and dam.  It compliments the existing conformation-based Registry of Merit award (ROM) program.  This is also a three tier award.   All owners must be GSPCA Members at the time of application for this award.

1. P-ROM
   Sire: 6 different offspring who have achieved at least mid-level titles in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.
   Dam: 4 different offspring who have achieved at least mid-level titles in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.
2. P-ROMX
   Sire:  12 different offspring who have achieved at least a mid-level title in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.
   (Dam): 6 different offspring who have achieved at least mid-level titles in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.
3. P-ROMXX
   Sire: 25 different offspring who have achieved at least a mid-level title in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.
   Dam: 12 different offspring who have achieved at least mid-level titles in AKC obedience, tracking and/or agility.

The following AKC companion events titles will be considered:

• Obedience: CDX
• Agility:  OA, OAJ, OAP, OJP (One standard and one jumpers title, both at the open or above level is required.)
• Tracking:  TD

If a given offspring has mid-level (or higher) achievements in multiple AKC companion events (e.g. obedience and agility) that offspring still counts as one, exactly the same as an offspring that has mid-level achievements in only one companion event.  

Since Obedience and Tracking have been offered by the AKC since the 1930’s, deceased dogs are eligible.
