The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America's Conformation Registry of Merit (C-ROM) award program is to honor the production record of the sire or dam. This is a three tier award.

1. C-ROM for a sire is 12 AKC Champions of record produced and dam production is 8 AKC Champions of record.
2. C-ROMX for a sire is 40 AKC Champions of record produced and dam production is 12 AKC Champions of record.
3. C- ROMXX for a sire is 75 AKC Champions of record produced and dam production is 20 AKC Champions of record. ROM at the end of the dogs name is the notation for Registry of Merit dogs on a pedigree.
